Ranching News

Pearson Ranch is proud to announce that we are now shipping our new crop of California Navels!
Grove Update:  The ranch has never looked better.  The groves are pristine and the fruit is very clean with good size.  After the freeze and the snowfall, we had a lot of farming to do.  Tony Marquez and Jerry Eaton mobilized our farmers and cleaned up the groves, reshaping the trees as needed.  Then we intensely farmed with a supportive plan of nutrients, lots of water, and pruning.  The trees have responded by growing a gorgeous crop.

Pearson Ranch began picking as soon as the sugar/acid ratio was on target.  This year we plan to begin our 1999/2000 season shipping both Pearson Ranch Premium and LOVE  Fancy.

The Pearson Ranch Premium is a grade above export.
When we bring fruit to the ranch facility to sticker and pack, we carefully grade the fruit once more.  It is our goal that this carton is consistently the highest quality possible.

The LOVE label from Pearson Ranch is an excellent Domestic Fancy Box.  It has received rave reviews from our most selective customers.  The LOVE Fancy box guarantees our customers dependably beautiful and delicious oranges at a competitive price.  Many find that this is their preferred product.

While there is no second guessing Mother Nature, after reading all available reports, Pearson Ranch decided to pace our picking so that fruit from our ranch will be available throughout the season.

Pearson Ranch Preserves are here!  Three years in the making, we have developed a uniquely delicious Premium Orange Preserve.  We will begin production as soon as we are shipping Oranges and plan to have the product in your store before Christmas. Like all of our products, Pearson Ranch Preserves have beautiful packaging and are made of the finest available ingredients.

It’s not marmalade!  Did you know that marmalade can have as little as 20% fruit?  That’s why when you look at our ingredient panel, sugar is always listed first.  Pearson Orange Preserve is a true preserve containing 50% fruit.

From all the folks here at Pearson Ranch, We send greetings for a healthy New Year.

Warm regards,

Debrah Pearson  and  Destiny Pearson Marquez
